A GREAT start of the 2022 sailing season. The south San Diego Bay is a perfect venue for our regatta and the weather's been chilly but the winds have been great.
We have 10 boats competing and 8 races completed as of Saturday afternoon. One more day to go... It's really CLOSE.

USN Sea Cadets - during a week long small boat sailing course the cadets ages 12 to 18, learn the boating basics. How the wind and sails work together. Navigation and Rules of the Road. Boating Safety and courtesy. And the pleasure of mucking around in a boat.
South Bayfront Sailing & Hobie Youth Sailing Education Foundation join to provide small boat sailing programs throughout the year. The 14' Hobie catamaran and the South San Diego Bay are the perfect venue.
